CAD and product development

CAD design and product development for startups and small companies. We design every part for the way it will be made, and since we also make the parts, it’s ready to build the first time.

CAD and product development

Service overview

From idea to a part we can build.

We do CAD and product development for startups and small companies: concept models, design for manufacturing, and the drawings you need to get quotes. Since we also make the parts, the design is ready to build the first time.

Our engineering background is CNC machining and manufacturing, so we design with the process in mind. Recent work includes gate systems for a motorcycle toy company and biosafe FDM parts for a biomedical startup’s tourniquet system.

How we design for manufacturing

Before anything prints, we check the design against the process: wall thickness, fits and tolerances, print orientation and material. We flag what would need to change if the part moves to a mold later. Then we print it, test it with you, and revise until it works, so the design you get is one we know can be built.
