Small-batch production

Need tens to hundreds of parts but not ready to spend six figures on an injection mold? We make your batch on industrial SLA and FDM printers so you can keep moving.

Small-batch production

Service overview

Make your parts now. Buy the mold later.

Injection molds can cost tens of thousands of dollars or more, and they lock your design in. If you’re still testing, that’s a hard bet to make. We build your parts in batches on industrial SLA and FDM printers, so you can get product in customers’ hands, learn, and change the design without throwing away tooling.

Some parts are also hard to mold at all. Big, thick parts need a large molding machine, and fewer shops run those, so the price goes up. Large-format SLA skips that problem.

Every batch starts with a sample part you can test. Once it’s approved, we run the batch and keep you updated until it ships.

  • You need a batch, not a one-off

  • The design may still change

  • A mold quote came back higher than the run justifies

  • You need parts before a mold could be ready

  • The part is too big for most molding machines

Processes

  • Large-format SLA on the Form 4L

  • SLA on the Form 4

  • FDM on our Bambu Lab fleet

  • Any Formlabs resin or Bambu Lab filament

  • Final inspection on every batch

How a job runs

  • A short call about the part

  • A written build plan: process, material, price, timeline
